your money goes a long way…

Our activities include the renovation of schools, provision of satellite teaching gers and the building of a maternity wing to the local hospital, crucial to preventing the spread of infection to pregnant mothers.

We have installed wells and a pioneering solar-powered purification system, dramatically improving the health of the community in the Gobi desert.

Catering equipment has improved the quality of children’s food in schools. We continually supply much needed equipment to the medical centre.

Hundreds of women are trained with skills to create self-sufficient employment potential, leading to the creation of a felt-making business, MIM, producing what is regarded as the finest quality felt in Mongolia.

Our community centre has become a focus for families to avail of our support services, including hygiene and disease prevention and psychological support programs.

In Gachuurt, a former commune, we offer training, seeds, plots and equipment to enable families to plant, grow and harvest their own vegetables.
