New well needed in our vegetable-growing training project

A new well is urgently needed for our vegetable training project in Gachuurt, a former commune. Up to 30 families are trained annually in organic vegetable growing at our training centre on the outskirts of Ulaanbaatar. As well as providing  plots of land to facilitate the growing of vegetables, the participants are provided with seeds, tools, equipment and material for poly-tunnels. Families can’t afford to buy water and so carry it a long distance over hilly terrain from the river.
